I am Monica Ward and this is my sweet 10 year old Shar-Pei mix, Lucy. My family moved to Madison over 8 years ago, and we feel privileged that we are part of such a wonderful community! It is a great place to raise our family which includes: my husband, our two sons, our dog Lucy, and two playful kittens, Calvin and Susie.
I am originally from Birmingham and was an elementary school teacher before becoming a stay at home mom. As a child, I grew up not only with my own cats and dogs, but in a neighborhood filled with other family pets. Some of my favorite memories are the adventures we would take with all of our dogs. I even taught at a private school that had a variety of school pets that included: cats, dogs, roosters, bunnies, guinea pigs, and sheep. I believe strongly that animals enrich our lives with their unconditional love, and enjoy having them surround me in my daily life!
I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets and not be sure that they are feeling loved, secure, and getting lots of customized attention. Each pet is different and has its own special personality, and individual needs. As your pet sitter I will build a unique relationship with your pet filled with love and personalized care, so you don't have to worry whether you need to be away for a few hours or several days.
